Tmo rep told me that the 8700 will not support wireless sync of calendar & contacts, only e-mail. I don't believe her, I caught Tmo reps wrong in the past and I had confirmed the ability to do so when I ordered the BES upgrade.
I'm using a hosted exchange account with godaddy and don't care about wireless synching the email in that account, just the calendar and contacts.

Reason: Update OS version
They're wrong. If the device is provisioned for BES, it can be activated on BES including wireless PIM sync.

Carriers don't run "versions" of BES. Companies that use BES for their employee BlackBerrys can have varying versions of the BES package on their servers.
