BlackBerry Apps for Parents
Please Login to Remove!
I want to post on my blog TechMamas.com with a listing of BlackBerry apps for parents. My parents i know use lots of iPhone apps - and i have a BlackBerry so I wondered what other types of apps other BlackBerry users would recommend for parents. If you have an app, great to also include link so I can get it myself.

As a parent (both children also have BlackBerrys), I find the most useful apps are e-mail, SMS, BlackBerry Messenger and the phone. The calendar is very useful for making sure I am where I am supposed to be for soccer games, picking up, the mall, etc.
It's not an iPhone. It's a BlackBerry.

The best application I have used, as a parent of a teenager with a BlackBerry, is the Report Card application.
If the report card application doesn't receive the correct positive information, it makes the BlackBerry disappear. 
Seriously, I ditto NJB's response, in all respects.

Ooh...I have to get that app! My kid is only 5 and thus no BB yet but what the hey!

Although it's only a web page, SchoolNotes is a great resource for parents if your child's teachers use it. Anything that keeps parents in the loop and involved with their kids' education is a good thing. |

Will I find this app in App World? Or do I need to check out a site like Mobihand?
