Default Prevent users from changing password

Please Login to Remove!

Just out of curiosity is there an option on BES to prevent users from changing their passwords in the IT policy? I see one to prevent disabling the passwords but nothing regarding changing it.

TIA
James

Not that I know of - it would undo a lot of the work of a password. If a user's password becomes compromised, they need to be able to change it. I doubt there will EVER be a way to stop users from doing this.

Agreed. I'm not aware of a method to lock that down either. If anything, I'd be looking for a way to force them to change it periodically, rather than remove the functionality of allowing them to.

That's what I do! I use IT Policies to force a change every 90 days. The users moaned at first, but they use the BB passwords so often they soon get used to them.
