Is there a way to check and see if the BES software has not been used or register. I was thinking of buying BES 4.1.4.15 online and want to make sure that this software's SRP is unused and will be valid for my registration.

The SRP does not belong to any BES software. You can use any SRP for any BES install. I take it that you are wondering if the SRP is already in use. That you would have to contact RIM for, they can check to see if that SRP is connected.

I have not seen any online SRP registry or lookup tool.

I would only buy BES software from a carrier or from RIM directly. If you buy it elsewhere and the SRP is already in use you might run into a lot of issues getting a valid SRP. Depending on the company as well you might get a run around when trying to get a refund.

I'd be very careful about buying any BES software from a third party vendor.
