Cool Replacement for 7100t ?

Please Login to Remove!

T-Mobile UK has just told us that the 7100t model has gone end-of-life. They suggested the 8700g model, which is great if you want the full keyboard, but anybody know if there is a replacement due for the 7100t form factor?

T-Mobile in the U.S. has the BlackBerry 7105t, however, I haven't head that this model will be available in the UK. Seeing how will the 71xx series BlackBerries are doing one can only assume that T-Mobile UK will offer the 7105t or some other 71xx series before discontinuing the 7100t.

According to my contact @ RIM, my company (CellularONE) is getting a GSM 7130 come this June. It is the same style as the 7100, but is more like the 8700 in it's capabilities. It will have EDGE.

I'm not sure when T-Mobile & Cingular will get them, but once they're developed, I'm sure they'll be right in line w/ us.

According to rumors, there will be EDGE- and UMTS-compatible 7100 series handhelds coming out - two different models. '7130u/uCharm' will likely be the name for the UMTS handheld.
