Default Yet another calendar question

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so i have one user who cooridinates webinars with our customers. He generates the invite through the webinar's website. This generates an email that has a link at the bottom that opens up an outlook calendar box. he then inputs some stuff in the text area and clicks "save and close". The event shows up in outlook but not on the BB. any other calendar event on his schedule is fine, just the ones created in the manner above are not syncing. Is this a known issue?

so far no one else has complained about this. I spent a fair amount of time yesterday just determining that it was this type of calendar event that wasn't syncing. strange but fixable. i have the user manually enter the event instead of using the link. i just wondered if this was known or anyone else had experienced this.

i have gone a dug up this old thread because now it is I who is having this problem.

Scenario:

I registered for a webinar. Go2meeting sent me an email confirming this. within this email is a link to "Add to outlook calendar". I clicked the link it added it to my outlook calendar and my BB calendar. I then went in and edited the calendar event so that i would be reminded of it 15 minutes prior to its start time. At this point it disappeared from my BB calendar.

To be sure i wasn't nuts i then went back in and changed the reminder back to "none" and lo and behold there it was again back in my BB calendar. so now i go to the event from my BB calendar and turn on the reminder from there and it stays.

Now i am all WTFBBQ???

1. Why would it dissapear from my BB when i simply changed the reminder from none to 15 minutes.

2. Big pain the you know what to edit the event from my BB just to get a reminder and have it stay in my BB. I have 8 more webinars coming over the next 4 weeks.

Any ideas guys?
