I am looking at purchasing the Garmin NUVI 370.
I have the Verizon 8130 Pearl.
I have tried other blue tooth devices and they have failed.
The security is very tight on the blue tooth pairing.
Has anyone had success with the Garmin NUVI 370?
Garmin stated that they have not tested it yet and to find a local dealer to try it out. Every place in Minnesota that I have tried has told me that the Garmin NUVI 370 is an order only item.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone unlocked the blue tooth pairing lock that Verizon installed?

Tom- I can tell you that I paired my Pearl 8130 (VZW) with a Garmin 360 and it was flawless. Worked like a champ, and I didnt have any issues. Hope this helps.

I have paired up with the Nuvi 760 without a problem. It was easier that pairing with my computer. I can't do without either the Nuvi or the Pearl!

I'm on Sprint and paired my 8130 with my Magellan GPS without any problems. It's probably a Verizon thing again.

Sorry for my ignorance, but why do you pair a BB with a Nuvi? Is it for hands free phoning or something?

Yes, it is. You use it as a speakerphone.

If one uses an external puck and a GPS program with the Verizon 8130, will the phone and the speakerphone still work while the GPS program is running?
