I've searched the forum and didn't find an answer. Hopefully someone has seen this...
Environment:
- Exchange 2010/BES 5.0 MR2
Scenario:
- User receives an e-mail from an external user: UserA
- UserA's smtp address is <UserA@mydomain.com>
- User replies to the e-mail from UserA via OWA and UserA successfully recieves the response.
- User attempts to respond to the same or any other e-mail from UserA from their BlackBerry and the reply is not delivered. The reply to address shows as (FYDIBOHE29SPDLT)/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=UserA@mydomain.COM445CE7B0-F2CD-421A-B34D-D404C6F117C219E46BFD' </CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=UserA@mydomain.COM445CE7B0-F2CD-421A-B34D-D404C6F117C219E46BFD>
Note: This only occurs for a few external users not all. New e-mails/forwards where the recipeint address is manually entered or selected from the address book work, only replies are impacted.
Question:
Does anyone know why the reply address is modified like this from the BES for some users and if there is a fix?
