Post Covertec case for 7250

Please Login to Remove!

I have my OEM belt clip, and have seen and liked the Covertec case (I had a Covertec case for an old iPaq). Anyone use it? Likes, dislikes? Seems like it would be able to be used in the case while using it as a PDA, but would need to slip out of the case to use as a phone (without bluetooth).

Does the screen power down like the 'in holster' feature of the OEM case? Any other cases that look good and offer comfort and protection? Thanks.

The case needs a magnet in it to ower down when in the case. Take a look at some of the OEM leather cases/holsters.

The covertec _does_ have a magnet in it for the power-down feature. Of all the cases I examined, the covertec, without question, was the best in quality and features. Phone slips out easily when I want it too, and stays put when its in the case. Clip is completely removable making an easy slide-in case for pockets.

I actually use the phone in the case; the flap just goes around my head. Its easy.

Really well done case, worth trying.

You sure about the magnet? Just double checking...would like the battery life spared if possible.

Thanks.

I just got the covertec slipper style case for my 7290. It is very nice, much nicer than the slipper cases I have gotten from EB Cases in the past for Palm devices, and much nicer than my Belkin ipod slipped.

There a distinct quality feel to the leather.

I had the covertec for my 7520 and I thought it is one of the BEST NON-OEM holster I have come across. The quality of the leather is pretty classy and workmanship is NO-QUESTION-ASK "is this made in China".. "how about Taiwan"? sort of questions.

Heboil : yes it does have a magnet. (find photo below marked in Yellow)

The good thing about this holster is that you can leave your BlackBerry in the holster and just slip the magnetic loop inside (back) to leave an open space for you to type or talk on your BlackBerry. (see photo below)

The only thing that I find annoying with ANY holster that has a design like this is that ... what if you don't have your bluetooth headset with you already paired and ready to go and you needed to answer a call?

You end up having the cover dangling by your head like you have some extra HUGE DUMBO ear.

But overall.. this is one of the best leather holster that I have come across.

THE BEST THING... now they have the 8700 design coming soon.

I definitely would want to get one.

Photos shown is their model for the 8700 series. JUST PLAIN AWESOME!
