OS 4.5 is the latest BETA handheld Operating System for the Blackberry.
It is not commercially, publically available yet.

I thought it was yesterday's price of a gallon of gas.

You mean the 8320 part of that, JS? More like $8.329

if you happen to find it, do not install it on your device UNLESS you know what you are doing with the BB... the 4.5 betas are very buggy and can cause problems... if i were you, wait for the official release

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8320)

2013? No way. I heard it will be out on Wedturday, June 40th. That's what I heard from a friend's brother's uncle's father's sister's cousin's grand-aunt's second-cousin-once-removed's uncle's pig named Babe.

Downloaded myself today. Installed in about 45 minutes or so.

First impressions:
- video camera is cool (even though I won't use it often)
- Email and Calendar font/format are OUTSTANDING!
- maps from contacts automagically are a nice feature
- the browser is freaking fantastic, it finally looks like i'm on the internet (including forums with pictures)
- streaming video - not nearly as choppy as I had suspected...pretty impressive

So, not too bad so far - one reboot in the first 6 hours - but I added the docs to go and changed about 10 -20 other settings, so I won't blame a beta OS as the cause yet.

Regardless - pleased, suspicious and cautious - but pretty cool!

Well, that pig is wrong. I have it straight from the web of the spider, Charlotte. She is the one watching over the pig. You need to remember, it's the spider behind the pig that counts. And Charlotte says it won't be quite that soon. She told me that it can't possibly be out till June 50th.
