hey guys,

when i first got my new blackberry, i was able the hit e.g. 'T' and get automatically to the task list, hit 'M' to get into the mailbox, etc.

now this is suddenly not working anymore and i have no clue why. i didn't think i changed any vital settings, but i must have...

btw, i'm using the ZEN theme

Setting your phone app to dial from the home screen would cause this.

for whatever reason when i swith themes this happens to me as well. change homescreen dialing to off...

I had mine quit working after a restart one time. To get them to work I had to open the zen menu and then use a shortcut key. After that they worked from the home screen for me. Took me a while to figure it out, but I couldn't live without the keyboard lock shortcut. BTW I have dial from home screen set to on. If I use one of those shortcuts I have to push NUM + shortcut key.
