Haven't see any charing points on on-line pictures and such.

Anyone out there who has one of these, does it have charging contacts for a charging pod? I use my 9700 as my bedside clock, i think i would really miss being able to drop the BB into a pod to charge.

I see it being used in the way you describe by an accessory available on AT&T's site.

No it does not. I've read a few different places that the new pod will be a usb connector for the charging port. I would assume its going to be a horizontal pod like it was on the Storm.

its a horizontal dock and the connector plugs into the microusb port. exactly like the original droid dock.
