Default DNS errors

Please Login to Remove!

So I am stilling fighting with my server (Windows 2003, Exchange 2003 and BES 4.1)....I registered a domain with godaddy that I want to host on my own server. I setup a name server with godaddy. The name servers point to my static IP . I have a default web page hosted on my server . If I type in my web site it gets a DNS error. If I type in the IP it loads the page. I have set my server to be a DNS and it has the info for my static IP and domain name. If you do an Internic lookup it finds my site by name and list the name server and listed the correct IP. Click on the name server and it loads the page but the page will never load if you type in the domain name. I called my ISP and talked to them and they added me to their name servers as a reverse lookup but still no joy. As a result of this I can only send E Mail from my Blackberry and any E Mail that is sent to my Blackberry is bounced back to the sender. Any ideas what's going on with my DNS or any tips you can offer?

If you go to a computer not on your network, are you able to telnet to port 25? Maybe your ISP is blocking port 25 so no mail can come into your Exchange server. For My Home BES I have mail coming from my Hosting Company, and then it forwards it to my gateway server (Linux Debian) on port 25556, and then my Linux server will forward all mail to my Exchange server over port 25. I then just use SMPT from my Exchange server to my ISP (Rogers) for sending mail.

Hope this helps.
