I have used my Laridian for years on my palm os5 PDA using Laridian reader MyBible4. Unfortunately for the BB they only offer Noah Bible Study view and NIV bible. I also use iSilo reader (isilo.com) and Dr. Constables bible study notes from Sonic Light (soniclight.com) - Bible Study Resources for Christians which I hope someday both will make available for the BB.
In the meantime, I use have decided to bookmark (mobible.org) which is the entire bible on-line for mobile devices in KJV and NIV, and also in multiple languages.
In addition, I highly recommend using Avantgo for BB free which is really awesome! (my.avantgo.com/rim/)
Avantgo gives you the first 2,000 kb for free, which is plenty of channels.
On the lifestyle catagories link there are 21 religion catagories to choose from.
My favorites are Morning and Evening devotions by Charles Spurgeon, E-Meditations, the Bible Minute, and Zondervan with a daily Bible verse and reading plan, church leadership briefings, news, and more.
I sync my avantgo channels wireless and its very easy to update!
If you use mapquest for directions you can download the directions to your Avantgo account by clicking on the "send to PDA" link at the top of the page when the detailed directions appear on the screen. You can then sync your Avantgo channels and "bam", theres your directions saved until you delete the channel from your Avantgo account. (be careful, its easy to exceed 2,000 kb if you are saving lots of directions). Or, upgrade your subscription to a power subscription for $19.95 / Year, which includes 80mb, plus a daily sync increase from 20mb to 80mb.
I hope all of this helps you!
