Default How to set default Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

My calendar keeps reverting back to "Show all calendars" so I am getting double calendar entries.

I go into calendar and select menu>select calendar>desktop and it fixes the problem, trouble is when I go out of canedar and back in it has reset back to show all.

Can anyone let me know where/how I set desktop as the default?

thanks in advance.

You can't set it to just show one calendar. It will always show all and if you only want to see one, then you have to select it like you've been doing.

Default Same problem

I have the same problem. I had two email accounts and my calendar sync'd fine. For 6 months, then I changed one of the email accounts and now I am getting 2 for every entry. Just started yesterday. I am not sure if it is the blackberry or the google sync I am using for the calander. I did remove the email address that I use to log into google sync. So maybe the sync isnt finding that address so it is sending it through all addresses. I do not even have a calendar associated with the other two emails.

Is there a way to just delete the other calendars from the device? I had this problem once before (when I first received my Pearl) and I switched the view to one calendar, as described above and it stayed at that view until just yesterday. Now it keeps reverting back to all calendars.

I have not found an answer yet, nor have I tried to go onto the BB desktop Manager and deleting the calendar and resyncing. Some have said this does not work.

I need help, we all need help.

I dont even know why BB associates a calendar with every email address. Sound kinda crazy to me. One is my work mail (POP) and the other address I use is the blackberry address from verizon.

To delete calender entries

On BB:
* Go into calendar option and make sure wireless sync to no

In Desktop Manager:
* Goto: Backup and Restore
* Advanced
* On Device Databases Screen find calendar you want to delete
* Highlight and click clear

On BB:
Turn wireless sync back on if required.
