Default 8700 Automatically turning off

I've been experiencing an auto off of my BB haphazardly, but mostly in the mornings. I've checked the "auto on/off" function and it has been disabled. Has anyone experienced this as well? Any fixes? Thanks in advance

I've had this happen to me several times. I do use auto on/off, but is set to 3am and 7am, and the auto off happened at random times in the evening. Have only experienced it maybe 6-8 times total, but it's been a few months since the last. No idea what it could have been.

My 8700c will go through random bursts of the screen shutting off after 1 to 2 seconds every once in a while, than it seemingly fixes itself. Wish I knew why...

You may have a battery connection loose. Check the terminals on the BB and the battery. use an eraser to clean the contacts. dont rub too hard and be sure to clean off the loose stuff. The other issue can be a problem with OS corruption. That will require a reload.
It is fully charged right ?
