Blackberry 7250
OS 4.0.0.204 (BELL MOBILITY)
BES 3.6
JBenchmark 1 (1.0.4): Error downloading - 907 Invalid JAR (anyone solve this?)
JBenchmark 2 (2.0.4): first test:29, 2nd test:31 (after cleaning memory), third test: 34! (cleaned memory and turned off radio)

I've been compaining to to my provider for 5 months about how terrible the 7750 is. They now claim the 7250 is the fastest BB on the market (according to RIM). After a week of using my new 7250 and now running these tests I'll have to admit to them that they are correct

Unhappy help with uninstall

Hi,

I don't seem to be able to uninstall jbenchmark from my BB 7230 -- even if I reload all the apps and remove all the data.

How can I get rid of it, please?

Thanks!

Options->Applications.

Use your scrollwheel to select the benchmark, click, and then select "Remove".

Thumbs up

Thanks a lot, Mark. That worked perfectly.

I even received an e-mail from jbenchmark telling me they didn't know how to remove it from the BB, so again, thank you.

Please do me a favour and email this link:
" http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=4041 " to the JBenchmark people, and that the uninstall instructions are
Options->Applications->Select JBenchmark->Click Wheel->Remove

JBenchmark2: just got a blue screen forever.

I'm new to this BB stuff, so I am not for sure what a BES is, and I hope that my benchmark is good. Thanks for the thread, this is helping learn more as I go!!

Dawg, what was your JBenchmark2 total? You have "918" for Jbenchmark1, but you have nothing for Jbenchmark2.

Damn I was thinking if you could overclock a bb the other night. I can see it now, people wearing a cyclist's hydration system to cool the damn the thing.
