Default Why should I get the Torch

Please Login to Remove!

I currently have the Storm2 from Telus. It is unlocked and on the Rogers network. It is running 5.0.0.1206/5.0.0.713 and I have a 16GB microSD card. Do I really need to upgrade to the Torch?

I am on a month to month contract so I am not eligible for the $199 upgrade price so I would have to pay the full price of $599.

if you are happy with storm, stay with it.

the Torch is nice with OS6, webkit browser, trackpad and having both keyboard types is a plus.

only you can decide if it is worth it to you.

If the Torch specs aren't something that makes you go "Oh, wow, I really want that" then don't switch. Stick with what you like.

I think I should save my pennies for a Playbook instead.

The first time I worked on a Torch was yesterday, and I was unable to find Enterprise Activation..they moved it, after all of these years!! They now have grouped the options items into various categories, such as "device", etc...once I was shown where to find enterprise activation, I actually kind of liked the new groupings. There is also a search function at the top of the options windows in case you have trouble finding something.

The latest OS 6 version would be one good reason as well as having the option of a trackpad and a virtual keyboard as well the touchscreen. They offer a different interface experience than the S2.
