Default Problem with appworld

Please Login to Remove!

So my problem started out by downloading Pandora. It didnt get to finish when I dropped service. Now it is stuck on the list where it shows your downloads and it states "starting download" but this has been going on for weeks. I can not stop it, pause it or delete it. Pandora told me to download it from their site and that worked but its still stuck on the list.
Now, its done it for Carnival of Souls digital comic book the exact same way. Any suggestions? Restarting the phone wont help and I can not go to the download screen again to start it again. Please help.
Note: sort of new to blackberry devices.

Have you by any chance done a battery pull since all this happened?

I just tried if you are referring to "pulling it out while its turned on" this did not fix the problem mentioned.

this has happened to me as well with many other applications before. pulling the battery out won't change anything. the only way to remove it is via desktop manager. completely remove the application then try reinstalling if still needed.

I had the same issue. All I did was attempted to download the same app a few times and finally the installation went thru and then it was no longer on the list.

Wirelessly posted

I was running Pandora fine, tried to update via appWorld and it got hung up. Upgraded appWorld and all was good.

Try highlighting the app that's frozen, then hold down your alt key and enter r-s-t, now check if the issue gets resolved.

If not then you can write at supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board?board.id=appworld - RIM staff and others frequently check this forum and respond to queries. If they resolve your issue, that is great!

I was having this problem with Poynt. I hit Alt r-s-t and it cleared it. Thanks.

Thank you "GEneha" that little trick worked. What command is that? Also, where can I find more commands that might be useful to me?

This was on another forum yesterday, same issue, different app download. It supposedly clears the cache that keeps trying to download the faulty package or program. Wierd that a battery pull won't stop it but it doesn't.
