Default How do I combine Messages and SMS/MMS again?

Please Login to Remove!

I just updated to the latest OS and now I have a lot of settings to reverse. Is it still possible to "combine" the two programs? On the same subject, is it possible to combine my blackberry email app and my yahoo email app all into Messages?

Open your message icon, hit the menu key and choose options, then go into Inbox settings and selection what you want to show up in the messages folder.

I don't see the OS version in your profile so I assume you are running OS 5.0

Yes, I am running 5.0 I did what you said (well the options were already selected). This doesn't remove the other icons, however.

I am also facing a new problem...

I assigned the left convenience key to keyboard lock, to kind of imitate the newer models, and how they go on standby by pressing the top. Before, I would just press * and phone and it would unlock. But now I have to press the mute button which is very awkward to press on the 9000. It isn't very convenient and user-friendly, IMO. Is there any way around this or am I just going to have to deal with it?

Everything will appear under the messages, the other individual icons can be hidden.

Not familiar with that, since I just have a password and password lock my blackberry every time.
