Thanks Jon for getting that flyer posted. Just remember who paid off Verizon so everyone could attend the event.

So the 8800 is hi-tech for you guys? Wow, you can play with my trophy one and look at pretty maps while I do real work from my lovely Treo 750 (you will need to go back to the early days of the thread to see why I get to use win mobile :->)

I know I have asked this before, but here goes again (lost a few brain cells hitting head against wall at work). Couple extra things I'd like to do while in Orlando. Animal Kingdom has the new coaster Expedition Everest (really only thing I'd go to do there w/o the family), Disney Quest (5 story arcade) always a blast, either MK or Epcot (definitely could eat at Germany). This being my first trip to WES (been on several trips to the House of Mouse), I'm not sure how much time there actually is in the evenings to try to take in these activities. Unfortunately, I don't have the weekend. I arrive Monday after lunch and am currently scheduled for a 5 pm flight out on Thursday (last direct flight home, I am looking into trying to get a Fri AM flight). Anyone have an idea what the prorated ticket costs for Disney? Surely they have a reduced rate for late entry. Any thoughts? I considered a park hopper pass for the week and going when I could, but someone said that might not be such a great idea. Does the Marriott sell tickets with conference attendees in mind?
Is there a conference there as well? Guess I need to attend that as well.

The options for Wed night are:
Verizon Casino Night @ Marriott
Cingular VIP Night @ HOB w/ Gin Blossoms
T-Mobile VIP Night @ Universal Studios
Hmm. Anyone want to try and make a couple of these? I'll have invites to all three before it's over with, so if we're allowed guests...

I have got an invite for T-mob but Verizon is looking the best so am hoping one of you guys gets me in. The flyer says nothing about needing an invite and as Darth says, they really don't care if we are potential money spenders. If it's possible to do two or three of them, count me in

I will let Darth answer, as he is tour group leader. I am also intending to spend every spare minute in the parks (or on the driving range!) so we can sort something out but I am making the assumption that the evenings will be full of silliness and we will on't make the parks on Monday day and Friday - Sun.

Newsflash - The brits are coming earlier
Apologies if you don't care when I arrive, just skip this post
Ok, the bad news for me is that I have to spend a week training in chicago straight after Orlando but the good news for you guys is that it now means you get extra time with Stu I now arrive on Sunday @ 18:30 and leave the following Monday @ 14:00, so I am totally clear on Monday day (although I will be up at 4am as per usual in the US, so won't be much fun!) and have Fri, Sat and all of Sun for Mouse-based fun.
I know most people don't care but Darth needs to build this into his Project plan for the park visits and reprint the visio diags. I am leaving Monday morning open to buy the horrendously expensive gift my girlfriend will demand after spending 2 weeks trekking round the US

Stu, PIN me your details and we can have a mini UK meet! I'm there saturday to saturday so will need to fill my time with other things as well. Haven't decided if I'm going to hire a car as to be honest not not too fussed about parks etc. I'm sure I can find enough to do just in Orlando.

WES 2006 Crew!!!
Jessica and I will be there. We were looking at pictures from last year, and those Blackberry-tinis didn't make me look sexy. Lol. We have to meet up for the parties and drink up.

Just so everyone knows the Verizon (Federal) reps I spoke with said the Verizon Wed evening event was OPEN to all. Feel free to event hop if you like, though.

Will do mate, if I can find my BB (win mobile boy, long story, check the early posts!). There are a few of us Brits and definately a few people down to Park-surf from Fri onwards so we should be sorted. Np need for a car, we can get from Marriott to the parks easily.
