Noticed a post on here from 2007 asking about night mode for bb's. Does anyone know if there is a setting or a theme? I work nights and staring at the screen and then back on the road is difficult. I have already reduced the brightness level but was wondering about anything else. Such as a theme that would make all the backgrounds black with white text instead of white with black text. Any help appreciated.

Themes: "Droid", "Modern Bold", "Opus"...
I have only tryed a few, but there sure be a lot of themes with black backgrounds and white text. You can also find themes packs that comes with screenshots so you don't need to be installing them. The best solution, however, is downloading plazmic theme builder, is really easy to use and in a few seconds you can customize the classic BB theme and adjust font size, color and anything else you want.

Depending upon the OS version, try ... Options > Advanced Options > Accessibilty > Color Contrast > Reverse Contrast

i cant find the accesibility folder tho.....

I think that accessibility option is for those with newer devices. It's not available on any 8300 series Curve.

You can try finding a dark background image, or browse around for a free theme you can change to at night.

PimpmyBerry has a decent amount of free themes for the 83xx.

Oops I hadn't noticed that. Sort of took for granted OP was referring to a Curve device since thread was in the Curve section.
