Default CardStar for the Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know if there is a Blackberry app like the iPhone's Cardstar? I've got several of those rewards cards with the barcodes on them (ie, Giant Eagle, Kroger, Dick's, Speedway, etc) and Cardstar creates an image on the screen of the barcode using the rewards number you keep in it's database. It would be wonderful to not have to carry those cards around - generally I don't have the right card with me!

Thanks - Doug

Interesting concept. I wonder if one could take a photo of the bar code and if displaying the jpg image might fool the scanner machine? Then again, in most stores (groceries, anyway) they take the card and scan it and I'm not sure I want to take a chance the cashier would drop my phone. Or gum up the trackball after handling wet produce.

Right - I wouldn't want that either. There are a lot of places that I go where I'm the one scanning my card over the reader so it seems like a cool app. I'm going to scan one of my card's barcode, convert it to a bmp the size of my Bold's screen and give it a try.
