Default How to get rid of "get more data" application

Please Login to Remove!

My daughter has a 9780. She put the OS7 Pink theme on her phone. Now her phone has added the "get more data" app. She has tried to delete it but to no avail it is still there. She deleted the theme but the other app remains. She doesn't want to click on it because she thinks it is some kind of virus or trojan or something of that nature. She has done a wipe of added applications but still it remains. Any ideas? She's afraid to use her phone right now.

It's from Bell, and it is safe. It has to do with her tariff.

There are no know malware applications for BlackBerry.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by tariff. So it is safe then?

In the meantime I called Bell. They informed me that they wouldn't have put it on the phone, but that they didn't believe it was harmful anyways.

The tariff is what you pay Bell for service on the device.

And yes, it is safe.

Bell customer care likely wouldn't know about it.
