I made the mistake of updating my bold the other day and now my BBmaps will not work (at&t). I have been using quicklaunch to start bbm and while it will start the app and will even start gps nav the map does not show up only, the background grid. All of the menu options are there etc. The map itself will not load. I have tried redownloading and installing with the same result. I always use quick launch to start the app.

Anyone have any ideas? Its in the service books and shows up in the applications. I use bbm with poynt often and stand alone frequently and it is usually very accurate.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

AT&T blocks BBMaps so you ill have to use their TeleNav. Best alternative is GoogleMaps.

Well that is true if I wanted to pay At&t to use their app. I have been using BBmaps for about a yr. after a fix I had found earlier that had to do with editing the vendor.xls file in desktop manager. Problem is I don't remember the procedure nor can I find the work around.
