I have the above BB and use local sync with my Outlook (PC running Win XP with all security updates). With all the correct settings, Intellisync reads the contents of the BB, but does not update the BB with all the new info that has been added in Outlook (Outlook 2003).

I have had to delete the Desktop Manager app, then reload it, set everything up again before it would sync with the Desktop. Then it syncs, but only once or twice before it just reads again and doesn't update.

Tried sync with Outlook loaded and Outlook not running - doesn't make any difference it seems.

Must be someone else in the Forum who has had this experience.

What are you sync settings. You have to choose intellisync and check box the ones you want to sync with your BB.

Yes, have checked all the sync settings time after time. I am very conversant with Intellisync (I use it for other PDAs).What happens is the BB is read, and when it should begin to check Outlook, there is a very quick 'snapshot' of the number of differences between BB and Outlook, then the app closes with no sync taking place.

So far, the only way I have been able to guarantee a sync is to clear the calendar (for example), then re-load it from Outlook. This should not need to be done of course, and I have even tried to back up the BB, and following that, sync again, but it made no difference.
