Default need help with major system errors

Hi this is a sample of the errors I am getting. Please note, my bb is a 7100i, running 4.1 and everything seems to be in vm mode. I deleted java soon after getinh this last bb, always keep the firewall on with all access to the usb, company internet, ect... Blocked! I did have bb antivirus on it until I thought that was the problem (browser was running in vm) then when I deleted it, the entire system went into vm! I am running bis, but it has been provisioning as bes.I also have lost several icons from my options menu, like memory wipe which stops me from being able to wipe the clipboard and such. I have replaced my bb a total of 6 times with the same problem coming back each time and getting worse each time. The log of a few items is listed below.

problem solved, blackberry setup wrong at nextel end, setup for wirelessweb instead of bis. new tech made mistake. mistake broke my bb but they are replacing it at no charge. Account is now fixed.

What sort of BlackBerry Anti virus did you have on it?
What sort of java did you delete?

Have you tried NOT using any third party software on your BB?

Yes, if you have had 6 BBs, I would say that it is a nightmare. That's 5 more than most people have had...

First of all, there is no need for AV for the BlackBerry. There have been no viruses for the BB.

You are not deleting Java. You are deleting Javascript. You can not delete Java.

Has Nextel ensured that your data plan is set up properly?

Frankly, IMHO you are messing around with the BB a little too much. It sounds to me like software issues, possibly self induced. Follow the instructions here - Main Page - BlackBerryFAQ - to wipe out the BB and load the handheld OS - and do not delete any components or add any third party apps.

Just my opinion...

hey, thanks for the info.

As soon as I told the Sprint\Nextel blackberry tech about that browser, she realized it was a setup for the normal wireless web, not blackberry internet service! A new tech set up my blackberry on the wireless web for phones and that messed my bb up.


Something in the wireless web might have damaged the hardware and it can no longer communicate with the system. That is the word from Tier 3 tech support at Nextel.

This might be the reason for so much trouble in such a short time.
