Default seperate BES e-mail for BIS e-mail -- how?

Please Login to Remove!

When I add BIS (internet) accounts, each one has a seperate mailbox icon on the main screen, and messages contains them all.

When I add the BES company account, everything works great except there is no seperate icon for it. I have to click messages to view my e-mail, and of course all my personal junk is mixed in with the company junk.

Is there any way to have a seperate icon to keep company e-mail seperate, like each BIS based account has?

No, BES mail will be presented in the Messages module. It cannot have it's own icon like BIS accounts.

If you delete messages in the Messages folder, they are also deleted from their individual folders.

No, you can't.
If you need to keep the messages entirely separated from eachother, then perhaps the Blackberry was not the best choice for you.

Maybe this could be simulated with a search view?

Setting up a search that includes only BES email and tying it to an Alt-hotkey combo is your best bet. Other than that you can flag BES mail by forwarding it as Level 1 (assuming that you're not using Level 1 for other purposes). They'll appear as bold.

Takeshi is correct as I suggested in message #6. I just tried the search view and it works. Perhaps penguin3107 had a different experience?
