Default Old Sim Card. New Phone?

Please Login to Remove!

My friend bought a Pantech Duo from letstalk.com and opened a phone plan with them through ATT. He sent that phone back and got the BB Curve 8310 today in the mail. The BB came with a sim card but there was some sort of error. He put the sim card in from the Duo and it works fine. My question is... Will the old sim card (from the Duo) have the same BB data plan as the new sim card that came with the BB does?

In other words, will using the old sim card on the new BB cause any problems?

Thanks!

It has nothing to do with the SIM card, it has to do with the plan on the provider. If he has a BB plan, then he has one, regardless of the SIM.

In short, no, there will be no problems.

Thanks. Just wanted to be sure cause I thought I read somewhere that you can't put a sim card in a bb unless that sim card came from a bb.

I'll tell him not to worry.

Thanks again!!

Not the case. I've been using the same SIM card for a while now and have sitched between several different phones with it.

Its just like a memory card, you can plus it anywhere and its still going to have the same information on it.
