Cingular has received the unlock codes from RIM, and they are available through the international care group.

I got mine yesterday and it worked perfectly!

Best of all, it was FREE!!!

That is good news. Something happened to the code gsmlocker gave me. The unit is no locked again and they said it is my fault. Good thing I used my AMEX.

Yep. GSMLOCKER is issuing a full refund and I was able to get the correct code from Cingular.

Thats because there is a built in function when Cingular locks it, it will keep relocking if unlocked by means of typing in a calculated code. Bongo and Cingular are the only ones who cn do it.

a built in function to relock the device? how james bond like... I doubt it... I don't think it was really unlocked and then relocked.

I agot mine unlocked by Cingular too. I asked for it in the late morning and in about 1 hour I had the code.

There is no built in function to relock the device if it us unlocked.
