I can't get my contacts to synch with the Blackberry from GroupWise. The calendar synchs just fine. Any ideas?

The Spec sheet for the MSM6500 chip says it supports GSM. Cool

Hi,

I have had my Blackberry 8700c for a while now and I have missed a number of work calls because the phone rings off within 2 - 3 seconds. Does anyone know how to prolong the ringing (longer than the three beeps).

All assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Could someone please link me to a post that explains how to restore the Blackberry 8700g to factory settings?

Is there a way to have my 8700c ring and vibrate? I always have it in my pocket while in the truck driving around. It's hard to hear it, and my last phone would do both....but I'm having trouble finding(if I can even do it) on the BB

Hi Ronald. Simply edit your profile and assign a sound to your incoming messages.

Welcome to the forums.

Cool unlock code 8700g

We purchased two 8700g Backberries through a third party vender to be administered by T-Mobile. We love the phones however; T-mobile was unable to provide telephone coverage as agreed. They graciously withdrew from the contract and agreed not to pursue the early termination charges. What we are left with are two very expensive phones that do not work. It is my understanding that they can be unlocked and we can seek another carrier. Looking at the various solutions offered by those on the Internet I am skeptical as to weather I own two useful phones awaiting new numbers or fishing weights. Any suggestions from anyone will be greatly appreciated. J. Blythe

Get them unlocked and use them with another GSM carrier. Check out GSM PhoneSource - When Only The Best Will Do

Hi U_did_what...

I have an 8700g , not a C, but I'm sure that the answer would be the same. Try selecting "LOUD" on your Profiles choice from the menu.
Then your phone should do as mine does...vibrates for a few , then rings to the tone of your choice. Hope that it helps.

Thumbs up

I'm with TMOBILE and I get 1000 minutes unlimited data. Including unlimited text, emails and "all day internet" privledges. I think verizon charges by MB though. Anyway my bill is faithfully 102.00 monthly. My buddy has verizon but his bill is rediculously high.
