Default Is it just me or can you not feel the vibration?

At first, i felt a little vibrate then after i downloaded the application where u can have the tone and vibrate at the same time, i cant even feel the vibration anymore, i just hear it vibrate

I agree the vibrations that the BlackBerry produce is rather subtle.

You have to have it pressed real close to your body to feel it.

yes it drives me nuts. recently upgraded from an 8310 curve and that phone had great vibration, but this bold's vibration seems to be only 1/2 the strength of the curve's, i wish there was a way to increase it.

Interestingly, different OS's seem to have different vibration intensities So that tells me it is, to an extent, software/firmware controlled. I wonder if someone might write an app to tweak the vibration.

Are you certain it's not just different perspectives from different persons? A weak/strong vibration is a subjective experience.

If im not mistaken in the beta os 5.0 it gives u the ability to increase the vibration from 1-10. Something to look forward to in the Official Release

Compared to the iPhone I thought it was an improvement but that point that Meyefull states is really interesting.

Really? my berrybuzz has the vibrating option set to bursts that last longer than a usual vibrate.. and it's never failed me yet.

if you can set the vibes from 1-10 on the new OS that's awesome.
