I am using a Cingular 8700 BB with the new 4.2.185 software installed.

I downloaded and installed Blackberry Maps on my BB.

It works fine. The maps show up. I can use my external bluetooth gps receiver, etc...

I do not have a "Search" for POI's function anywhere on the program.

Any ideas?

Even with this feature appearing in the various manuals it has not been implemented in BBMaps to my knowledge. Version 1.1.32 is the latest I have seen. Speculation is that BBMaps was created to drive others to create mapping applications and maybe they got pushback on adding this feature in.
