Please Login to Remove!

I deleted the old one and then added this one in. I even added the T-mobile theme after the fact and it updated for me.

My vendor.xml file was in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader, but I don't have one after upgrading to 4.0

Hope this helps

I personally like to turn it off when not in use to save battery, so I had been using the UK Default/Small Icons theme because you could have a bluetooth on/off icon on the main menu page. However v4 takes away this ability. Now you have to do settings/options/bluetooth/on-off. Bummer.
I'm using the 7700 small icons theme (don't know if it's similar to yours). The upgrade blew out my Bluetooth icon as well. I had to pair my headset with my phone again, and the icon came back.

HELP
Trying to install new themes, specifically the o2 theme. When I get ready to do it I get:

Applications to be installed or updated:
Add-on Themes

Unrecognized modules that will be removed:
WebViewerPersonal
berry411

So do I just go ahead and let it do its thing and then restore these two apps or ?
Thanks for the help

you most likely have deleted your installation files for those applications, so it doesnt know to keep them on your handheld.

you could use javaloader to load the file. i'll make another thread on how to install JDE and use it.

It looks like it's down and I'm hungry for more Themes.

Anyone have another resource?

http://thelloyds.matrixdancer.com/Themes.zip

- O2
- T-Mobile
- Vodafone
- 77xx Small Icons

*Note: the 77xx small icons theme can possibly overwrite your Default (List) theme.

Default PLEASE HELP !!

I loaded the new themes without any trouble, or so it seemed. My application downloader confirmed that the download was complete. I then unplugged my 7100t from my computer and have gotten nothing but a rotating hourglass on my screen for the last 40 minutes. I tried to take the battery out and put it back in. Same hour glass. I can't reload the original applications because my desktop manager won't recognize that I'm connected. What the heck do I do ? Did I fry this thing with the new themes ? It's totally nonfunctional at this point...and I'm in a panic. Please help !!

Is it possible to get screen shots of these? I'd like to see what I'm downloading before I download and install it...

Cheers,

You should still be able to connect to the unit. Download JDE 4 and uninstall the files you installed. Do a search for "wipe blackberry" and you should find the post on it. Let me know if you need more.

not to be an ass, but what forum are you in? i believe this particular sub-forum is dedicated to the 7100 handsets ('Charm' model) and even the title of this thread specifies the 7100 model.

and FYI, there is SUPPOSED to be a 'themes generator' utility from RIM at some point. all hell will break loose when everyone and their mom can create their own themes (*twirls finger*). be patient. you cannot create themes without said tools.
