How come flash is not available on 4.5? Youtube works but others don't.

Thought 4.5 would support flash and flv extensions. Web page headers and objects just show empty boxes. Other sites that offer flash movies or feeds show blank pages indicating flash is required. Any ideas?

YouTube on the blackberry is not using flash to play, but rather the built in media player.
