7100i Nextel LED keeps flashing

I just got my new 7100i a few days ago. I had a 7520 and it was great just wanted the newslimmer model. The LED light on my 7100i keeps flashing every 5 seconds or so. I don't have any unanswred calls or messages. I also wen't in and turned off the led indicator for everything to see if that stoped it. Is it suposed to just keep flashing when its on or is there a way to turn it off? Thanks
