Angry multiple rings on email or instant message

Please Login to Remove!

Unless I'm missing something real obvious, I cant seem to make the storm ring more than once on an incoming email or instant message. I clearly see the options for vibration, but what about for ringtones... specifically the ones that don't repeat by themselves (the the whole notifier_ type).

Am i tripping or something??! Hell, my 8830 would let me set 2 or 3 rings!

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 9530)

At this time I do not believe this setting is available (unfortunately).

:-/

Sorry for the nasty tone, this just came a major shocker to me.

But now i've discovered something else about the profiles. if I have a "custom" vibrate set, it still rings the tone in the holser, even if I have "Sound in Holster" set to No.

Is this an issue for others too?

Thanks.

I use "Audio Editor Gold" (its free) and you can at least go in and copy paste a few times to make it longer. Might help.

I import the MP3, copy it and paste it to the end, can be done as many times as needed for as long as wanted.

not sure what you mean by "custom vibrate" but are you using the default profiles or your own. seems like if you want the profile to do what you actually set it to do, you have to create your own profile. when i tried using the default profiles, it would always ring for an event that i told it to not ring (or vise versa). very inconsistent. if you haven't already, try creating a custom profile and adjusting all the settings accordingly.

and no, at this time, i don't think you can set an even (other than a phone call) to ring more than once.
