setting up new PB issue

a client took their PB home with them because they don't have a wifi network at the office and realized they didn't have a BB ID. They didn't know how to create one so they brought the PB in with them to the office and call me, I helped them get a BB ID and they went to a coffee shop and connected to their wifi. When they attempt to connect using the BB ID they get the following error:
The device prompts me to provide my Blackberry ID. Then returns a message:
Please check internet conection, then try again.
Error Code: (60)
Security/Certificate Error. Please check your date/time settings and try again.
The date and time on the PB is the same date and time on their computer; I have not been able to find any kind of resolution to this problem but have found one other asking for help and the another giving up and using their PB for a door stop.
Does anyone know a solution for this error?
