Default Coming to Sprint?

Please Login to Remove!

I have been a Treo user for 3 years now and have always thought about switching to BB. I did my research and decided that the Curve is the one for me. However does anyone know if and when Sprint will offer the curve? Thank you.

Perhaps. But I wouldn't expect it for 9-12 months after the USA GSM versions.

So if my research serves me right the only 2 confirmed carriers are T-Mobile and At&T? I have always been with Sprint and know nothing about thier reliability, which carrier do you think is better?

It all depends on where you live..try howard forums for a million coverage related discussions..just search your location. As far as sprint getting the curve.. they have announced the 8800, but there has been no mention of a cdma curve so don't hold your breath unless you are ready for a long wait.

New models of Blackberry are always slow to get to the CDMA carriers.

As cdd543 says, you really have to choose a carrier base on your coverage needs. There's no universal "best" (like everything else in life).

Well, the pearl made it's debut last fall, and there's still no CDMA version available for Verizon or Sprint! So if that trend continues, be prepared to wait a while for the Curve to hit Sprint. As for service, cdd543 is 100% right! Service depends on where you live and work, and travel as well. I use both AT&T and Verizon, and have to say they both have there up's and downs. But honestly I use my 8800 alot throughout the day and really have no complaints as far as coverage and realiability from AT&T in and around NYC.

Verizon got the 8830 fairly quickly after the 8800 was released for GSM. You never know but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I have been a longtime Sprint subscriber. I was with T-Mobile for a year when my company went that direction. I hated their service (in Los Angeles). It worked fine, except for at my house. I was used to perfect service. I could not use it to talk to people from home. If I tilted my head, I lost the signal. I prefer their customer service though.

Also, I tease GSM users all the time. It is so annoying how that signal ALWAYS interferes with audio sources and speakers and phones and is constantly clicking. I cannot believe it when I get a voicemail from someone and I can tell their cell phone is sitting next to their office phone because I can hear the signal clicking on my voicemail message. How has the FCC not put a stop to that?

I got the 8703e from sprint and was SO happy they carried that. I would love newer type of BlackBerry. But the 8703e is nice.

The new 3g devices don't cause that feedback.
