Hi. I have the 7130 Blackberry and can successfully pair my motorola h500 ear piece but once it's connnected I can't hear anything on it. If I dial a number you don't hear the ringing in the ear piece, however I can hang up the call from the ear piece. I had the 7100 previously and it worked fine. I tried pairing it with my co-workers blackberry pearl and had the same issue. I then tried pairing it with my bosses 8700 and was able to hear out of the ear piece and have it function normally. Any advice? I have the Cingular 7130 with v4.1.0.321 device software.

After further investigation I know for a fact my h500 is paired successfully. When I attempt to make a call I'll click in the track wheel on the 7130 and have the option to activate h500. I select to activate and i can hear for about 2 seconds and then is drops and goes back to the bb. Grrrr........

When your headset is powered on, you should get little arrows next to the Bluetooth icon at the top of the screen near the signal meter (theme depending) to show you that the phone and the headset are talking (as well as the flashing blue led). Then when you make a call as soon as you press send the call should route to the headset. You won't hear keypad tones, etc in the BT headset. Does this help?

Yes, on all accounts. It gets paired, everyone has bonded and is communicating except for the fact I can't hear anything on my earpiece! However, when I'm on a call and click the trackwheel for options it gives me the option to connect my h500 and for about 2 seconds I can hear on it.

Have you tried deleting the headset from the BB, rebooting the BB and then re-pairing it?

Yep!
I'm wondering if the fact that I recently updated te OS may have something to do with it. I'm tempted to go back a version of 4.1 to see if that fixes it.
