Default Add Numbers to "Mobile" by default?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to do this?

When I type in a new number, and select "Add to Address Book" by default it gets added as a "Work" number. Most of my numbers are mobile numbers so I'd rather have it default to that....

Any way to change this?

No, sorry, it only goes to the Work field by default.

You can use cut/paste to move it, though.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

That is frustrating and would be a nice welcome to an OS upgrade! I've always done as juwaack suggested. Most of my contacts are mobile as well!

Oh well

Ahhh thanks ... I knew if there was a solution I'd find it in here. Hopefully a future firmware upgrade will do the tricks. In this day and age, even with purely business contacts, it's the cell phone you want more than their office landline.
