Im in Southern California, big Angel Ball fan, would love to know if I could get some kind of AM radio listening on the berry so I can listen to the games!!!

There is some kind of XM Radio program for the Bold. They offer a one month free trial. I have never used it and don't plan to really, but it might do what you want.

Don't get the AT&T XM radio, it's terrible. Very few "stations". Bad streaming and it costs money.
Flycast.fm is FREE!! (go on your phone browser and download, and set up a free account online). They have AM and FM stations all over the country. Specialty stations. Check it out. I use it like a transister Radio in the pocket (old school). With even my iPhone, I couldn't find my favorite AM station (WSB Atlanta), for talk radio, until Flycast. Now it's on Blackberries. Internet Radio rules!

Just downloaded flycast, they also have a support area for troubleshooting (which always seems to be my case) you can link here to avoid some of the trouble I did. I first signed up at link then initialized under downloaded section on berry, and presto now, listening to some FM, have not searched around yet for the AM radio the others have talked of, but at least there is a free radio out there. Thanx for the heads up berry users! Follow the below:

To install the latest version over the
air, you should only need to point your BB browser to
http://www.flycast.fm/blackberry/download/flycast.jad
This should then prompt you to install. You can sign up
for a FlyCast account on the device or on the website.

I use FlyCast myself. But I haven't looked for any talk radio to speak of. I know BerryTunes will let you pretty much add any internet radio station that streams in winamp format. Yeah I know it costs to purchase. And the interface is... text based. But it might be the answer for sports radio.

Flycast (free) has a lot of streaming sources - more than a thousand - today, not many of them are radio stations, but I got a press release from them last week announcing an initiative that targets radio stations.

Meanwhile, Nobex Radio Companion - Helps You Keep Your Music Collection Fresh! (also free) streams 100+ radio stations and gives you what's-playing info on 2700+ with the ability to click on a song to get iTunes & Amazon links for it sent to you via e-mail.

But the best solution for a local FM station is to create a homebrew BlackBerry add-on. All you'll need is a pocket transistor radio & a few rubber bands.

found talk radio and am on their lists...excellent site the flycast.
