I agree. There is so much room why such a small slide?

I don't look at it as a complaint. Without criticisms, software developers won't be able to make any improvements, free or not.

Confirmed; fix later today
We've confirmed a memory leak, and have a fix in test now. Want to run with a while longer to make sure this takes care of the problem A new build will be available later today.

This build also changes the slider behavior so that if you do not unlock the screen in one slide, it snaps back to the begining when you release your finger. This should prevent more accidental unlocks.

Actually I have found you can swipe anywhere on the screen and it seems to work, anyone else confirm this? Great app!

This application sounds like a good workaround. Hopefully this will be fixed by RIM soon. It doesn't seem that difficult to me. Since the screen is multitouch, it should be able to easily distinguish between a fat face on the screen during a call and a finger.

nice product...but how did you find it in the first place. I went to the cellavant website looking for other apps...if any .... and I just get some clunky website without any products or info ... nothing about talklock anyway.

New version with fixed memory leak:

TalkLockxxx8482; (BETA) Touch Screen Lock for BlackBerry® Stormxxx8482;

The slider also springs back if you slide it half-way!

How do you replace the image? Where do you go to? I think the verizon splash screen is not caused by the app, but by the OS. Are you running .83? When I had .83 os on, i kept getting that screen stuck every time I reboot.

I haven't set up an email on my Storm yet so I asked CellAvant if it was possible to download it to my pc first, then load it to the phone.
I received a reply back off Mike Walker (within 5 mins - very impressing) but he said it cant be done that way.

This is my first Blackberry and I am loving it but I haven't a clue how to set up the e-mail, do I need to contact Vodafone to set it up?

I couldn't find how to change the background. I went into the media and clicked on explore but when I got to pictures on device memory, nothing is there?

it's not there originally, you just have to put your file there. It will read the picture file, just make sure to rename the file as instructed.

Yeah, I installed this and overnight (wasn't using the phone) drained my entire battery. My phone turned off just after my alarm went off.

Anyway, I see there's a new version out, so I'll try that out and see if it's any better.

Edit: I just installed it and accidentally clicked wrong when it asked me to set the permissions. What permissions do I need to set for TalkLock to work properly? If someone can tell me how theirs is set I would be thankful.
