I'm not getting any emails when there are posts.....anyone know why?

I don't believe thats a feature of this forum.. I know you will get PM's but not personal emails

This is posted in the wrong section but I'm sure a mod will move it...Anyway, if you want emails from BB Forums go to User CP (upper left) and click on Edit Options. Go to "Default Thread Subscription mode" and select "Instant email notification."

When you are subscribed to a thread (generally happens automatically when you post) you will get an email notification of a new post (along with the post itself.) You'll get one notification and then you'll have to visit the forums again to get more notifications on that thread again.

I believe the way the forums are set up are that you will only receive emails to subscribed threads if you have elected to do so in your User CP under edit options.

I've been having the same problem. I NEVER receive my email notifications for threads I've subscribed to. I'll doublecheck my settings, but I believe there IS something wrong with the forums that's causing that feature to not work properly. Just my 2 cents.

I have my subscribed threads going to my Gmail account, which in turn goes to my Blackberry. At first, I wasn't getting emails. It turns out that Gmail thought it was spam. All my forum emails were marked as spam. Marked them as NOT spam and have been getting them ever since.

I have them going to my AOL account that gets forwarded to my . But I still didn't receive a notification of your post. I'll check my AOL spam box when I get a chance. I've never seen them filter out forum notifications before, but there's a first time for everything, I suppose.
