Default 8700c & 3G sim card.............?

Hadn't seen this question posted yet.

Will Cingulars newer 3G sim card work w/ the BB 8700c ? Also will it improve any of the 8700c's performance ?

What are the advantages of the 3G( besides being 64K) over a normal Cingular Sim Card ?

Image of Sim Card I'm talking about................

The 3G SIM card works, but it doesn't mean you get 3G speeds. I don't think it has anything to do with performance other than maybe storing contacts on the card itself. The 8700 is an EDGE device only.

Just a newer card. Not sure of the advantages or disadvantages, but that is what they are putting in all the phones now.

I just got a new 3G sim card after this last network crash. The only difference I noticed is that now I have the ability to review deleted voicemail messages. This became available to me after installing the 3G card, but I'm not sure if it is related.

I don't have a 3G sim card and I've always had the ability to review deleted voice mails before I leave my voice mail account. If that is what you are talking about, it is not related.
