Thank you and yes.. You guys are playing very, very well this year. Your games against LSU and KY are making Dawgfans feel a tad better....

Thanks again.

It is pretty exciting. And even with all the success so far, if it doesn't turn out this season, our guys are so young that "Wait 'til next year" may actually mean something. With sophomores and freshman playing like they are, the future should be very, very bright. But that's a discussion for another forum.

By the way, to answer your question about folks like using GrandCentral, I enjoy it. It works well. I don't use it often because most of the folks I do business with already have my actual mobile number, but I've been giving it out to new contacts and that seems to be working well. I don't know how things will change when it moves to beta to full release in terms what they will or will not charge for.

You're most likely posting this in the wrong forum, and we're going to need a lot more information to be able to help you out.

The service sucks until they get the ability to forward SMS and maybe even MMS. Too many people are mobile now a days, and too many people use SMS. At first this service seemed like an awesome idea ... I could just give out one phone number. But, you end up having to give out your real mobile number anyway, because you never know if they will send you a txt message. When I was using it, NUMEROUS times I had people say ... ummm you didnt get the message? I sent you like 20 text messages. What good is it if you have to give your number for texting, AND your GC number for voice? Why make people remember what number is for what? I just said screw GC and ill just give out my mobile number.

Im sure there will be lots of people that will use it, but overall I predict the service will fail with the MASSES because of this problem alone.

Yeah, but add GC as one of your myFaves on T-MO and things get interesting... potentially unlimited calling to/from countless numbers! ...And yes, while sms forward would be cool, it is really meant to be a voice service; nothing more. Great for business people that want to give key clients a number to reach them on anytime/anywhere, etc.

Yes, but looking at their site they want to eventually market to everyone, not just business users. I said it will never make it big with the MASSES. As a service marketing to business clients, it may do alright. But it will never make it above that. Which is a shame, because I think GC could be HUGE if they supported SMS and MMS redirecting.

Well I've been using it for business purposes and love it! It's nice to have a kind of second number ring in that I know is business related. I don't mind not having caller ID on them as I always answer my phone the same during the business hours, just pretend I don't have caller ID.

How is the service working out for others here? Does everyone have an invite that wanted on?
