I've deleted music files from my media card, but the Artists and song titles still show up when I disconnect my BB and check Music. I'm trying to clear everything off so I can re-install new music files.

Any Ideas? Thanks.

Select your media icon on your BB Desktop then:

1. Hit the Menu Button
2. Select Explore Button
3. Look for th file you would like to delete
4. repeat for all other files you want to get rid of.

That works for me.

or you can do the old delete from your computer while its in Removable disk mode.

Hey man, i'm having the same problem. I've deleted the songs off my memory card. but when i look under my music section, all of the names are still there, but they are un playable. It isn't taking up any memory or nothing, it's just annoying seeing a bunch of song names that aren't there. Have you figure out how to get rid of them?

Try a battery pull with the phone powered on. That should solve your issue.

Oh! Awesome. i just tried that and it worked, thanks alot. lol, it was getting really frustrating. i just made an account on this site so i could ask that. will this do anything bad to my phone?
