Just got off the phone with VZW.
They have a top level trouble ticket for this.
They said they are told around 15 percent of the users are experiencing data outtages, even when they show connected to data network.
I had a similar problem this morning around 9AM, which seemed to resolve itself after I called support.
VZW did not have an ETA for resolution.

Wirelessly posted

Mine finally came back on this morning.
Also, maybe it's just me but my edge seems to be faster loading pages.

I was really hoping to wake up to a phone full of e-mail. Nope, still busted.

Default AT&T Wireless - DC Metro Area

Folks -

I've been down since around 10PM last night - no data - no emails - I feel disconnected from the world!

Side question: Anyone know if I go borrow a friend's Android-based phone, will I get data using my T-Mobile SIM card?

So just spent another 20 minutes on the phone. T-Mobile had to do a full network reset and finally it's back

So, my device is working again on wifi and EDGE. However, my wife's 8900 is still only working on wifi.

I guess what I don't get is why RIM told me there is nothing that can be done on the carrier/user end to fix this, yet some people are calling TMobile and getting fixed.

AT&T got me fixed up. Guess I should have called them sooner.
The number they gave me to call was 888-892-9760, if I had anymore issues.

Same for me. BES; Stamford, CT; AT&T 9700. My solution: carry my Verizon MiFi card with me. Wifi everywhere on the better network.

I have been having weird issues with date for the last few days.

I have called my provider numerous times (Bell) and they have not been able to resolve.

I have a BB9700 and am only able to get BES email. Voice works fine. I am not getting any of my BIS emails and not able to browse.

Everything works when I connect to a Wi-Fi spot.

They have tried sending me service books (not receiving them), they have tried sending me PINs (not getting them either), battery pulls, reseeting my account at their end, I also got my self removed from BES and re-added...

Good to know that I am not the only one having issues...

Just got a boatload of messages delivered.
Hopefully it is working now.
Did they do the BIS upgrade early or what?
