Default Replaced my BB

Please Login to Remove!

I recently got a replacement BB and wanted to know if I have to go through the Enterprise Activiation again, this unit has a different PIN than the other...

WHat do I have to do in order to connect and download my mail from Exchange Server.....

was it on BES before? If so, I think you will have to go through the same steps of setting up and/or changing your communication softwares since you have a different pin.

Yes, you will have to go through enterprise activation again. That is how you get e-mails, address book, and calender.

I dont think the PIN matters when activating your blackberry. When you activate the device connects to the BES server by your email address, Gets your activation password usually set up by the help desk for your company or your network admin and then begins to pull down your last X amount of emails calender address book etc:

I thought everything depended on the PIN when sending to the BB?

If you have blackberry desktop 4.2 installed and still have the old BB with you, you can use the switch device wizard. it copies all your data from the old BB to the new one and activates the new one. So no need to call IT to redo the activation. If you decide to redo enterprise activation, certain databases dont get copied over from the old device so you have to restore them manually.

The new BB came with none of apps I had on the other, where can I download....blackberry browser...etc..
