over here in cali, a couple people on BGR posted that they were able to pick some up in Pasadena, so a couple att stores are selling them early... but for anybody in the OC ive called every att around here, all of them say itll be selling on the 4th

These are simply places selling them by mistake. You have all waited 6 extra months I think everyone can make it to Tuesday.

I don't think it is quite a mistake. When you're in the store the plaqered that has the pricing info is dated 11/2. Which i beleve by their bylaws/rules/regulations, the store can sell the phone as of that date. Now, it may be at the managers discretion or what not, I have no idea seeing how I am not an att employee. But I am pretty sure these stores selling the device are not breaking any "company polocies" or selling them by "mistake." Just my two cents.

The store at 290 and Mopac, It comes with a 100 dollar mail in rebate, and I had to use the 75 dollar early upgrade fee, so it came out to over 500 with some of the fees. and it comes with a bunch of other junk, 2 gig card, bluetooth earpiece, and a car charger.

I bought mine in Austin today.
3 stores reported that they didn't have it or it would go on sale 11/4.
The 4th ATT store sold it to me at around Noon Sunday. There was another guy getting one at the same time.

Oh yeah... the salesman said they only had two, or I would have posted earlier.

Been busy getting it set up.

It is slightly heavier and larger. So far, I think it is worth the extra couple of ounces and millimeters.
